3 Days in Napa – My Recommendations

THURSDAY

  • Fly into San Francisco and rent a car for the drive to Napa OR take a JSX direct to Napa.
  • Be sure to check before you go, but head to JCB for some bubbles and grab some snacks at the market next door.
  • Make a reservation at Bottega and order the Aperol Spritz. I highly recommend the Sophia Loren Pasts or the Ravioli
  • End the day with drinks by the fire at the Hotel Villagio.

FRIDAY

  • Walk to Bouchon for some delicious croissants or bakery treats before a day of wine tasting.

  • Wine tasting recommendations:
  1. Whetstone 
  2. Alpha Omega
  3. Silver Oak
  4. Darioush
  5. Clifflede
  6. Montelena
  7. Del Dotto

  • Go to Lunch at Mustard’s Grill (you can BYOB pretty much anywhere in town, corkage fee).

SATURDAY

  • Head to Boon Fly Cafe for Brunch (be prepared to wait but it’s worth it)! 
  • WINE TASTING (Try a different recommendation from above)
  • Lunch at Rutherford Grill try the French Dip at the bar and BYOB.
  • MORE wine tasting!
  • Dinner at Angele in Yountville, or Torc in Downtown Napa.
  • Followed by drinks at Cadet.

SUNDAY

  • Ad hoc schedule Sunday but try to get some fried chicken and champagne before you head home!
