Top 5 Covers I Discovered on YouTube

1. Let It Go

Frozen – Alex Boyé (Africanized Tribal Cover) Ft. One Voice Children’s Choir

This Tribal version of “Let it Go” is O.M.G. The children’s choir is phenomenal and the leads can really belt it out. I absolutely love the cinematography in this video and the costumes are BEAUTIFUL– can I just be Elsa now please??

2. 7 Years

(Rewrite Cover) – Leah Guest

The lyric rewrite is what makes Leah Guest’s cover of the popular song “7 Years” so incredible. Her version of this song has uplifting and inspiring messages, not to mention her voice is beautiful.

3. We Are Young

fun. – Mike Tompkins – A Capella Cover

This guy FOR SURE deserves to be on my list. In this cover of FUN’s “We Are Young” Mike sings every. single. part. himself. WOW. A truly talented vocalist who absolutely crushes this song!

4. One Dance

Drake – Conor Maynard (feat. Wizkid & Kyla)

I love this cover of Drake’s “One Dance” because it sounds like a completely new and different song. The combination of the keyboard, low key electronic beats and their amazing voices work together to create what is now one of my favorite covers.

5. Lovefool

CoverwithCaroline- The Clinton Years

I had to include this one on this list (sorry, not sorry!) but I promise it’s not shameless self promotion. I had an absolute blast singing this cover of The Cardigan’s “Lovefool” with The Clinton Years earlier this year  and they are just so fun. Not to mention they put on an amazing show at the Kidd’s Kids NKKOTB party this past weekend- check them out!
