Staycation Wrap Up (Or Where To Hang Tonight!)

I know it’s been a while since my last Staycation post but is there a better time for a “where to hang out” post than Friday afternoon? Of course not! So, let’s do this!

Lounge 31

Lounge 31 Dallas

Lounge 31 is above the yummy French bistro, Bistro 31 and it’s very different than the ground level restaurant. This isn’t lunch with the girls. It’s yummy sushi and cocktails in a very chic setting. Monday through Saturday from 4-7pm, they have half-off sushi rolls and apps. And on Sundays it’s half-price sushi all day and they have half-price bottles of champagne. I love spending Sundays there because there’s always an awesome live DJ and Sundays were made for yummy champs!

Adair’s

Adairs Dallas

Deep Ellum just keeps getting cooler and cooler! And as I find myself going out in Uptown less and Deep Ellum more, Adair’s keeps growing on me. It’s a live music venue and it’s where dive meets hipster. (My other fave like this is still the Double Wide.) Also, they’re apparently known for having one of the best burgers in Dallas. I can’t confirm because we always end up next door at Cane Rosso for super yummy pizza, but it’s definitely worth trying!

Tipsy Alchemist

Tipsy Alchemist

The Tipsy Alchemist is in Uptown and definitely more of a clubby scene than a bar one. But even if clubs aren’t your thing, you have to go just to see the mixology and (literal) smoke and mirrors. The craft cocktails are amazing and watching the bartenders create the drinks is a show in itself. If drinking a cocktail out of a lightbulb is too fancy for you, you can always go with straight bottle service but you don’t want to miss these bartenders at work!

Midnight Rambler

Midnight Rambler

The Midnight Rambler is definitely Dallas … craft cocktails and beautiful people! It’s located inside the Joule hotel downtown and it opens at 5pm so you can head over right after work. It has a total speak-easy vibe with lots of comfy seating and it’s super cool and swanky but still relaxed. A great bar to start your night!

These are my top picks but I’m always up for places to add to my list! So if you have any ideas, I want to hear them!

Enjoy your weekend!

xo,
Caroline
